Advanced acne treatment methods


We offer acne treatment that effectively address causes and consequences of the disease:


  • Heleo4 Cell Detox FDT photodynamic acne therapy is aimed at the gentle elimination of toxins and cellular skin detoxification, using a combination of light and photosensitizing gel. It helps to reduce inflammation, normalize sebum production and prevent new breakouts. Heleo4 Cell Detox FDT is ideal as an initial stage of acne treatment as it prepares the skin for further therapy.
  • Hydrafacial Syndeo. This is a basic facial care, uniting both deep cleansing and moisturizing of the problem skin. Vacuum removes impurities and keratinized cells, while therapeutic serums secure deep nourishment. The treatment is especially efficient for blackheads, dullness and early stages of acne. Hydrafacial Syndeo is an advanced version of hydrafacial for acne prone skin. An intelligent skin recognition system, accurately determining the client’s requirements, is used. This method includes lymph drainage, oxygen infusion and the application of rich anti-inflammatory and regenerative serums. Ideal for blemish-prone and delicate skin.
  • Sciton Joule BBL. In acne treatment, BBL (broadband light) is used to kill P. acnes bacteria, alleviate inflammation and regulate sebaceous glands function. Our specialists perform anti-inflammatory light therapy using Sciton Joule BBL technology, which can be customized. The procedure results in clear skin free from rashes, pigmentation and enlarged vessels.
  • Fotona SP system addresses the dermis and is good to treat both active acne and post-inflammatory changes. It reduces inflammation, kills acne-causing bacteria and improves skin texture. The laser does not injure the skin surface and is suitable to treat the entire face.

Best practices to deal with post-acne scars


We also have effective procedures of non-surgical scar removal:

  • Mesotherapy and exosomes. Exosomes scar therapy is an innovative approach for the post-acne tissue regeneration. During the session, a cocktail enriched with exosomes is administered subdermally using ultra-thin needles. They activate cell regeneration, eliminate inflammation, even out the texture and increase the resistance to irritation.
  • PRP Cellensis. Plasma Therapy with the patient’s own blood. Platelet-rich plasma stimulates the collagen synthesis, boosts skin regeneration, reduces inflammation and helps to smooth the texture. PRP Cellensis treatment combines well with other post-acne treatment methods.

Indications and Contraindications


Regular and persistent skin inflammations, leaving scars on your skin, are signals that you need professional medical attention. Main indications are:

  • mild, moderate and severe acne;
  • comedones (blackheads, milia);
  • subcutaneous inflammation and painful rashes;
  • excessive sebum;
  • enlarged pores;
  • post-acne in the form of scars, spots or pigmentation;
  • uneven tone or texture;
  • post-acne dullness.

Your health is our priority. Therefore, before the treatment at Seline, patients are to consult a cosmetologist to rule out possible contraindications, namely:


  • acute inflammatory states (herpes, eczema, dermatitis in active phase);
  • contagious diseases and fever;
  • chronic skin diseases in the acute stage;
  • cancers;
  • individual sensitivity to the drug’s components;
  • pregnancy and lactation (for injections and hardware procedures);
  • taking certain medication, for example, retinoids.

Preparation


To secure effective and safe treatment, it is important to properly prepare the skin. This will help to minimize possible side effects, improve the absorption of active ingredients and enhance the result.

3–5 days prior the therapy:

  • exclude aggressive beauty products: exfoliants, acid peels, retinoids and alcohol-containing lotions;
  • do not use scrubs and acid peels which may possible injure your skin;
  • avoid active tanning and solariums;
  • stop taking blood thinners, subject to prior consultation with your doctor.

The day before the procedure:


  • wash your face with a mild cleanser, do not apply any makeup;
  • get a good sleep - skin recovery directly depends on the overall health;
  • avoid alcohol and caffeine.

On the day of the procedure:


  • do not use new or unfamiliar care products;
  • avoid saunas and bathhouses;
  • exclude rigorous exercises;
  • prepare a list of medications, taken on a regular basis;
  • inform a doctor on any changes in your health (ARVI, acute exacerbation of chronic diseases, rashes beyond the face, etc.).

Some procedures (for instance, laser or injections) require more specific preparation. The cosmetologist will necessarily inform you thereon during the initial consultation and provide additional recommendations according to your skin type and the chosen method.


At Seline Clinic, we adhere to a system approach to treat acne and its consequences. This is not a one-time procedure, but a step-by-step strategy focused at eliminating inflammations, restoring the skin and preventing recurrence:


Stages


Consultation

The first and the most important stage oriented to define the cause of acne and post-acne. The specialist conducts a visual examination and interviews the client on skin features, any concomitant conditions, mode of life and home care. If necessary, additional examinations (for example, hormone tests or a consultation with a dermatologist) are indicated.



Personalized treatment planning

Based on the acquired data, the therapist creates a customized care and therapy plan, which can include hardware, injection, laser procedure as well as professional beauty care. It can be multi-purpose and adjusted in the process, depending on the dynamics of the skin health.


A course of procedures

The patient undergoes the prescribed treatments according to the approved schedule. This could be a combination of Hydrafacial with PRP facial therapy and Fotona laser or exosome therapy, supplemented by Heleo4 care. The goal of the procedure is to systematically treat the skin: relieve inflammation, stabilize the sebaceous glands function, refine the texture and accelerate healing. All sessions are carried out in compliance with Dubai aesthetic medicine standards, in a comfortable and safe environment.



Evaluation of results and preventive care

After the main course completion, our specialist will assess the process, comparing the skin health before and after the procedures and adjust the further plan, if necessary. At this stage, preventive care may be suggested - less frequent, but regular sessions, and professional beauty home care. This will help to maintain the results and prevent the reappearance of rashes or post acne exacerbation.


Instructions on the recovery period

Upon acne and post-acne treatment, the skin is hypersensitive, so it requires special attention. Following the recommendations during the rehabilitation will help speed up regeneration, prevent complications and fix the result:

  • do not touch your face, especially on the day of the procedure;
  • wash your face with mild cleansers free from alcohol and acids;
  • avoid makeup within 24 hours, and up to 48 hours after injection or laser procedures;
  • apply soothing and moisturizing products recommended by our doctor;
  • be sure to apply SPF 30–50 even in cloudy weather;
  • do not visit saunas, bathhouses or swimming pools within 2 days.
